As an interior design student and the owner of a small vintage shop, I often get asked: Is vintage and antique furniture still in style?
My answer is a big YES!
Vintage furniture never really goes out of style because it brings something new furniture often cannot—character, history, craftsmanship, and personality.
I love mixing vintage and antique pieces with modern furniture. An antique table with contemporary chairs, a vintage cabinet in a modern room, or an old mirror paired with new decor can create a space that feels collected, warm, and completely your own.
And there’s another reason to love vintage: it’s sustainable! Giving an existing piece a new home means recycling, reusing, and keeping beautiful craftsmanship alive. Many older pieces were carefully handcrafted and built to last for generations.
To me, buying vintage isn’t just decorating—it’s giving something with a past a place in your future.
So don’t be afraid to mix old with new, choose pieces that speak to you, and have a little fun with your space!
Think vintage. Love the past. Create your future.
